Our Mission

Welcome to ASC Durango, located in the new Mercy Regional Medical Center campus.  The Surgery Center is designed and our staff members are trained to make your surgery safe, convenient and comfortable.  The Surgery Center is licensed and meets the highest standards.  The surgeons and anesthesiologists on staff here are the same as those who practice in the main medical center.  Should an emergency occur, we have protocols in place to effect safe, immediate care and transfer just down the hall to Mercy Regional Medical Center, the only full service hospital in the region.  We have a highly-trained, professional staff and we are dedicated to doing everything we can to assure your safety, convenience and comfort.  Most patients have some concerns when facing even relatively routine surgeries; this is normal and understandable.  If you have questions or concerns about your surgery, please do not hesitate to discuss them with us.  Your preparation and cooperation are important in the safety, success and recovery from surgery.
