Insurance and Billing

§      Fees charged by ASC Durango are in addition to your surgeon and/or anesthesia provider fees.

§      Contact your insurance carrier prior to your surgery date with any questions about your policy coverage.

§      Your surgeon’s office can help obtain approval or pre-certification for your procedure.

§      A patient accounts representative may verify your benefits with your insurance carrier and you may be contacted before surgery to review insurance information, payment options and to answer any questions you may have.

§      If you do not have insurance or are paying cash for your surgery, you will be asked to submit payment on or before the date of your surgery, unless other arrangements have been made.  You may also be asked to sign a financial agreement.  Please remember that arrangements are your responsibility and must be made prior to surgery.

§      We accept MasterCard and Visa.

§      We will bill your insurance provider for you. Any balance that your insuance provider does not cover is your responsibility.
